S2M3ART Festival Ajang Penyaluran Minat Bakat Siswa
BANDAR LAMPUNG (Lampost.co)–Sekolah Lazuardi Haura Global Islamic School (GIS) kembali menggelar science social music math market art (S2M3ART) Festival diikuti seluruh siswa-siswi dengan tema Guardian of earth.
Ketua Yayasan Lazuardi GIS Shita Dharmasuri mengungkapkan smart festival merupakan kegiatan rutin tahunan yang diikuti 372 siswa pra-TK, TK, SD, dan SMP diberikan kesempatan untuk mengasah kecerdasan yang mereka miliki, disajikan dalam bentuk penampilan, pameran, dan percobaan di depan teman-teman dan orang tua.
Dia mengatakan smart festival tahun ini diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan, mulai dari kegiatan sosial yaitu donor darah. Kemudian market, galery art and craft, music performance, dan science and math exhibition.
Dari tema tersebut setiap kegiatan menggunakan alat dan bahan yang ramah lingkungan, sekaligus meminimalisasi penggunaan plastik serta menggunakan sumber daya alam dengan baik dan bijak. “Ini terlihat dari pengunjung wajib membawa sendiri alat makan yang ramah lingkungan,” kata Shita.
Dia menuturkan pada kesempatan itu setiap anak diberikan kesempatan untuk mengekspresikan kemampuannya sesuai dengan minat dan bakat masing-masing. Seperti gamolan cetik Lampung, pianika, band, serta presentasi percobaan sains. “Misalnya matematika, anak membuat sebuah market sehingga anak jadi tahu bahwa matematika tidak hanya melulu soal hitung-hitungan, dan sesuatu yang menakutkan. Matematika bukan hanya dihafal,” papar dia.
